Living in it
We paint a room or two at a time and leave the apartment liveable every night, with furniture back where it was.
Whole apartments, single rooms and between-tenant repaints. We sort out the lift and the building rules, and leave the common areas as clean as we found them.
Lift bookings, work hours and paperwork sorted with your building manager.
Common areas covered on the way in and left clean on the way out.
So you, or the next tenant, can live in the apartment while it is painted.
One number, with the scope beside it. No surprises at the end.
Not living there? We can work from a key and lock up after each day.
Painting an apartment is not just painting smaller rooms. There is a lift to book, hours when work is allowed, neighbours across the corridor, and a building manager who wants to know who is coming in.
We sort all of that before the first day. The lift and corridors are protected, the work stays inside the building's hours, and the common areas are left clean, so nobody on your floor has a reason to complain to the strata.
We paint a room or two at a time and leave the apartment liveable every night, with furniture back where it was.
Painted while the apartment is empty, which is the quickest and cleanest time to do it. Timed around your settlement and other trades.
A fresh repaint so the apartment is ready to lease. We work from a key, and your property manager can let us in.
Scuffs, marks and dated colours dealt with before photos and inspections, in neutral colours that suit most buyers.
Painting the whole building rather than one apartment? That is strata painting.
We look at every room and write down what is being painted, the colours and the number of coats. You get one fixed price with the scope beside it.
We check the building rules with you or your building manager: lift bookings, permitted work hours, parking and contractor access. If the building wants our certificate of currency, we send it before we arrive.
Lift lined, corridor floors covered between the lift and your door, furniture moved and covered, floors and fittings protected.
Holes and cracks filled, surfaces sanded and cleaned, mould treated in wet areas, then two topcoats as standard.
Furniture back in place, the apartment and the common areas left clean, and a walkthrough with you before we finish.
Every apartment is priced on site, because the size, the state of the walls and the building's access rules all change the job. As a rough guide, a single room starts from $1,800.

Very happy with Mosi and his team. We were on a tight schedule and needed the painting completed before moving in, and Mosi was always very responsive and kept things moving without any fuss.
The quality of the work was excellent, and the apartment looks fantastic. What also stood out was how trustworthy and reliable he was. We gave him the keys to our apartment and felt completely comfortable doing so.
I’d happily recommend Mosi and his team to anyone looking for a professional and reliable painter.
Mosi and his team did a fantastic job repainting our unit. They were totally professional, courteous and very well priced.
These guys are total professionals and could not recommend them more highly.
Mosi and the team did a fantastic job on my interior paint job. Mosi advised on paints and finishes, and was extremely flexible in timing around other trades. I will absolutely be using BrushUp Painting again!
Mosi and his team recently painted the complete interior of my house. I found him as I had asked my friend who painted her house as it looked great and she put me in touch. They are quick and clean. The whole thing was done in under a week and it looks very fresh and clean. Could not be happier and would use them again!
From walk-ups in Bondi and Randwick to harbourside apartments in Rose Bay and Elizabeth Bay.
Yes. We work a room or two at a time, use low-odour paints, and leave the apartment liveable each night with your furniture back in place.
Usually not. In NSW, painting the inside of your own apartment is generally treated as cosmetic work that an owner can do without approval. Your building's by-laws still apply to things like work hours, lift bookings and contractor access, and we work within them. Balconies and anything on the outside of the building are usually common property, so they need the owners corporation's approval first.
Only with the landlord's written permission. If you are the landlord or property manager, we can paint between tenants or work around a tenant who is still living there.
No. Plenty of our apartment jobs run from a key, particularly before a move or between tenants. We keep you updated as the job goes and walk it with you, or your property manager, at the end.
Yes. Mould is treated and cleaned off before anything is painted, then wet areas get a mould-resistant finish. If the mould keeps coming back because of poor ventilation, we will tell you, since paint alone will not fix that.
It depends on the size, the condition of the walls and how much needs painting, so we price every apartment on site. The quote is free, and you get one fixed price in writing.
