Walk-ups usually have narrow stairwells and no lift, so we plan how materials get up and protect the stairs and landings on the way. Painting inside your own unit generally does not need strata approval, but the building's rules on hours still apply.
Many of the blocks are now due for exterior and common-area repaints. Those jobs are quoted by area for the strata committee, with render cracks repaired and stairwells painted in a washable, hard-wearing finish.
