The older homes have usually been painted many times. Flaking paint is taken back to a sound surface, old paint is prepared with lead in mind, and timber windows and doors are repaired before the new coats.
The apartments are a different job: lift and loading dock bookings, building rules, and common areas quoted by area for the strata committee. Warehouse conversions need high-access equipment and the right primer for brick and steel.
