Most of our work as painters in Darlinghurst is on Victorian terraces and the Art Deco and Interwar apartment blocks between Oxford Street and Kings Cross, along with warehouse conversions and newer apartments.
Much of the suburb is a heritage conservation area. Repainting surfaces that are already painted, in colours that suit the building, usually does not need approval, but a big change of scheme or painting bare brick can need City of Sydney approval. We flag this when we quote.
Access is the other constant. Most terraces have no side access, so they are painted from the street and the rear lane, and parking and lift bookings are planned before the job starts. Walls on the busy roads are washed to remove traffic grime before any prep.
Every quote is done on site with one fixed price in writing. We also work in Potts Point, Surry Hills, Paddington and Woolloomooloo.

Narrow streets and lanes, terraces with no side access, little parking, and traffic grime on walls facing Oxford Street and Darlinghurst Road.
Terraces are painted from the street and the lane, with old paint prepared with lead in mind and colours that suit the period. Strata work is quoted by area, and parking and lifts are booked before the first day.

Mosi and his team did a fantastic job repainting our unit. They were totally professional, courteous and very well priced.
These guys are total professionals and could not recommend them more highly.
Mo and his team were great at painting our house. His pricing was competitive and he started/finished as programmed.
He was able to start with reasonably short notice and willing to do extras that he saw necessary to do a quality job.
He left the site clean and tidy and has made a real difference to the overall appeal of the house.
Will look to Mo again when we need a painter.
I had an amazing experience with Mosi. Their team was professional, punctual, and did a fantastic job. The attention to detail and quality of work exceeded my expectations. My home looks brand new! I highly recommend them for anyone looking for top-quality painting services.
Stripped back to bare render, then rebuilt and repainted. Same porch, same angle.

Usually not, if you are repainting surfaces that are already painted in colours that suit the period. Painting bare brick, a big change of scheme, or work on a listed heritage item can need approval from the City of Sydney.
From the street and the rear lane. Scaffold or ladders go up at the front, and if materials have to come through the house, the hallway is protected.
Yes. Inside individual apartments, and the common areas and exteriors for the strata committee. Render is repaired, original steel windows are rust-treated, and the detail is cut in by hand.
It is planned before the job starts: a building car space, a loading zone or a nearby car park, with materials brought in at times that suit the building.
Yes. They often have high ceilings, exposed brick and steel. High walls are reached with the right access equipment, steel is primed before painting, and brick is sealed if it is being painted for the first time.
Every job is priced on site. As a guide, a three-bedroom interior starts from $5,000, and trims and windows from $150 per window and frame, plus materials. The quote is free and the price is fixed.
